LOVE IT WHEN I OPEN THE MAILBOX AND FIND A LITTLE WHITE BOX FROM TITLEIST! LOOKING FORWARD TO TAKING THEM OUT FOR A SPIN TOMORROW.
THANK YOU TITLEIST
Keith MAcworth, GA
I hear you. I just got mine today as well. They look pretty similar to my usual Pro V1x, but am interested to see if I notice a difference, for better or worse. I'm excited to have the opportunity to try out the test balls and provide feedback.

Just recieved mine. Can't wait to try them. Playing Sunday and it is going to be cold.

I thought the same thing but when I tried them out today I noticed the different feel of the driver plus the loss in yardage. I use the Pro V1x and this ball felt like and flew like the Pro V1. With my high club head speed the Pro V1 is to spinny off the driver which causes me to lose distance. So at least the test balls I got I believe to be the Pro V1. Thanks Titleist for the chance to try out these test balls.

I'm excited to have the opportunity to try out the test balls and provide feedback. Haven't used them yet, but I did notice the dimple pattern looks a little different. Will put them in play next week.

I got mine last week and like others have said it flies like a pro V1 X but around the greens at performs like a pro V1. Great Performance with this latest version can't wait for the new ones to come out. thanks so much team Titleist!!!!

I received "red number" balls that by all accounts were some new ProV1X based on the allignment aid. I play a couple of great rounds with them and then a good round. (I'm a 17 and shot 82 on a hard course and flirted with 70s).
However, they are now all gone. 2 Lost in play in the rough and one in the lateral over the last 3 rounds has me in a pickle.
Is there any manor is which more balls can be requested or bought? I typically do not play titleist, but these balls (and another sleeve) would make me a convert. I will likley convert anyway but thought I might ask.

Just got mine, taking them to Philly next week!
Dallin HArlington, TX
Have fun playing with those test balls. I was able to test some out last year...what an awesome experience!
Christian GOceanside, CA
I just got mine on Monday as well, so it will be fun to play a few rounds with them and see how they compare to the current model. I've said it since they came out, that the current Pro V1 is the best one ever. Mainly because the cover is just so durable it's ridiculous. It's going to be hard for this next gen Pro V1 to beat it.
Rick RGraham, WA
Got mine in today !!! Makes that Saturday and Sunday tee times seem soooooo far away....
Troy FKing of Prussia, PA
Used mine today. Seem a bit longer than the ProV1-X I play now. More durable too. Liking the ball alot. Another round tomorrow and some more in Philly next week.
Chris PKaty, TX
Got mine today. May have to put them in play tomorrow.
Thanks Titleist

Just got mine today! Look like the new ProV1x prototype (Red numbers). I'll work around the greens with one today and then take them on the course this weekend!

Received my test balls the other day. I'm going to use them for 9 holes on Sunday and the current Pro V1x model on the opposite 9 holes.
Do you guys typically use your current model on your front 9 and the test model on the back 9? That's what I usually do.
Got mine today!!! Thanks Team at Team Titleist and appreciate everything you do for us!!!!
Bruce WVallejo, CA
Received mine last week and used them on Sunday. Hit the ball pin high all day long and drove it long and straight.
LOVE these golf balls!

It may be psychological, but I really think these new balls feel and sound better and may go a little higher!

The leaves are starting to fall here in Ohio and I don't want to lose them before really enjoying them. That would be terrible!
Thanks Titleist for best balls on the planet!

Mine arrived as well and agree with being happy to be part of any Titleist testing! What an AWESOME brand!

Thanks Titleist for sending me test balls to try out! I have got 36 holes in so far with them and got to say that I like the way they feel off the club and around the greens.
I'm playing Sunday and look forward to put them to work. One thing I wonder is does Titleist employ standard scientific method with the test balls. Do a fair number of us actually get "placebo" balls?

I received mine last Tuesday, but had to wait until Friday to get out and try them due to the weather here in the midwest. First person out on Friday morning and played two balls (2011 ProV1x and the new Test ball, which I believe is also a ProV1x). Test ball actually felt just a bit softer off all clubs and was longer on most shots. The test ball rolled real nice on the greens also. The ball checked up really once on all shots, but after 5 inches of rain the three days prior, if it didn't check I would have been shocked. The only knock I have is the cover scuffed a little on a wedge shot I hit. Overall though, I really like the test ball.

Excellent question. I too would be interested in the answer. Thanks for asking it.Be well.

I played mine last night on a round of nine, it might have been my new AP1's , but ball felt crisper off the clubface. I didn't seem to get much bite on a couple of 46 deg wedge shots, but then again, it wasn't hit with my VokeySM5 either, they were recently wetted greens.
I'll say the flight on drives was fantastic though. One shot I hit, I thought I had hung it out to the right 5-8 yeards , but it hooked back in the last 50 yards and left me in a perfect postion for second shot on a Par 5. :)
As far as comparison hitting , I told course manager That I'd like to play 2 balls at same time and showed him the little note with the balls, and he said sure, He said the pro also received some and did the same, Course wasn't crowded at all.
I normally play a Pro V1.

I was at first surprised, then excited to see a little white box from Acushnet this afternoon. Hopefully the rain will hold out tomorrow morning so I can put them into play. If not, I will definitely game them next week.
Looking forward to the email so I can give the proper feedback.
Thanks Titleist.
PS, My daughter was playing a HS match at River Bend in New Bern, NC yesterday, and I found a Team Titleist logo'd golf ball while looking for another girl's wayward shot.

Got my little white box yesterday , went to the range and practiced chipping and putting.... very soft feel , they are the ones with the red number ( PV1x)..... thank you TT always a pleasure to be a tester for your great products
John TWilmington, NC
Got mine in a few days ago. Red numbers--I'm assuming ProV1X--but could be wrong. Playing in a tournament this weekend, but hopefully getting out this week to test them out.
Ed PN. Las Vegas, NV
I played mine a few days ago, and was very impressed, the distance was great even on a few off center hits. The ball was dancing on the greens, which is tough in the desert, the only thing I noticed was on the off center hits the ball felt and sounded hard. I really love them !!

I was able to play two rounds this week at two different courses with the "Test" ball. My initial impressions were that it looks like the Pro V1x that I have been playing. Drives that we're hit well appeared to have a slightly lower trajectory and with similar distance. Nice solid feel too. Mid-irons had the usual stop-and-drop. Wedges seemed to have a little less spin than usual. With the putter I felt the ball might be slightly softer; putts needed to be hit firmer then usual.
ted mEdmond, OK
Got mine couple of days ago and played a round with one yesterday---felt quite similar to prov1x --dimples are little larger--spins about same---distance good -=-good feel off the tee-----5 birdies :) so putted well
Paul CChicopee, MA
How do I get on the little white box list??
Chris KMedway, MA
I had very similar experiences with my test balls on several drives and three metals off the tee. I thought for sure a few of my fades we're going to turn into trouble but they seemed to hold up. Not sure if they have less spin on the longer shots but they held their line and did not turn into bad cuts.

I received the white box with balls with red number 1. The ball went a bit farther than the Prov1 black , was not very controllable around the green. It tended to run out. Also the ball was very durable. I have rust on my wedges and no marks were visible after hitting out of sand or short wedge shots. All in all a good ball for the spring and fall in western NY but I will keep playing my Prov 1 blacks
Jay MOrlando, FL
This is my first time testing. I work at a beautiful course in Orlando and have played three rounds with the sleeve so far. I honestly can say after playing my Pro V1 & these test balls, I can see a difference in many areas.
sean kRochester, NY
Played mine and have to say the white is the brightest I've seen and the simple pattern is unique. So far it putts like a prov1x but short irons feel like a pro v1
Chuck ZMt Pleasant, SC
Got mine sleeve last week and played one of the balls for a few holes until it decided it wanted to go for a swim and we got rained out at the turn. Did not expect it to go that far on that particular hole. Like the pop off the face off the driver and the hybrids. Also love the feel around the greens. Still evaluating and will send my report in when asked. Like the ball and performs like a Prov1.......Thanks Titleist for selecting me this year.....chuck

Just checked the mailbox, YEP got my box of new Titleists. Can't play this weekend have to wait till next week. Can't wait to hit them.

Recieved my test Titleist last weekend. Have played 27 holes and like them lots. Love the flight off my driver and the distance. I normally play the ProV1x and feel the test ball may be slightly longer, albeit they have a harsher feel at contact. Also don't feel spin is as good as the 1x unless I get a perfect center face descending hit. Anyway, it great to test a new Titleist Ball!
Bud MYork, PA
Got mine this week. Played them 18 holes on thursday--shot 39 on back nine with 3- 3 putts(bad reads) everything about this ball is better. Crisper of the irons(AP-2's) Longer--straighter drives- firmer feel to me--even on putts. I hit a 185 yd #6 hybrid to 3 feet--ball stopped dead in it's pitch mark. OMG---get me more soon please. Already hit one in the water- ps: the cover seems to hold up better as well. Thanks Titleist--No one does it better!!! Buddy Mac

Just received my 1st box, can't wait to try them. I currently play 2014 Prov V1X. I like the feel better than Pro V's. Although to me the 2014 Pro V's feel much like the 2013 Pro V1X's.

Got mine 2 weeks ago, played 2 rounds with them. Stops on a dime pitching wedge to 3 hybrid. seems to be just a little longer and softer than ProV1 from 2 years back

That's not a bad idea....but if pace of play allows, I try and play two balls, my usual Pro V1x and then the Test ball. That way, I can get an immediate comparison...just a thought?

Thanks Titlest,
I received my little white box and shared with my wife. I gave her one ball and I kept two since I am more likely to lose a ball. We alternated holes using the white box ball and our regular ball ( a new one). We both felt the white box ball played as good if not better than our regular ball. The white box ball had a similar feel as a Pro V1x. I liked the feel of the ball especially on approach shots and chips, but I did sense that it didn't rocket off my driver and perhaps was alittle shorter than my regular ball.
Mike MFort Wayne, IN
I alternated between the test ball and a Pro V1x from hole to hole. Next week I’ll try the Pro V1x on the front 9 and the test ball on the back.
TOM CSUN CITY CENTER, FL
I take them on a midweek late afternoon round and play one ball against the other (hit 2 balls on every shot).....(
Muz AOgden, UT
I tested my proto ProV1 (black) ball on the back 9 last Sunday and played it against current ProV1x on the front 9. I did it again today but only played the first 4 holes with the ProV1x and the rest with the proto ProV1 ball.
Just like you, I like to test it this way just because you can see the difference between the two balls. So far, very impressed with the new proto ball. Keep up the good work TITLEIST!

Thanks for the Samples and your interest in my opinion.
