    One of the major golf retailers is selling the Titlest VG3 (sold in Japan) anyone know what Titlest ball it compares to on the American market.

    I have not played it but heard it compares to an NXT Tour...or thereabouts.

    I was told that the VG3 is essentially an NXT Tour cover, wrapped around a core similar to that of the ProV. I've played them a few rounds and like them, I'm typically an NXT Tour player, and these are comparable. They are NOT the feel of the ProV, but if you desire a little less spin of the tee (also equates to less feel around the green), etc, these are a good fit. Also comparable to the GranZ that hit the same retailer last year. I played those last year as well. Hope it helps.

    on the american market these balls are close to the same as the DT carry golf ball and/or the 2011 NXT golf ball. they provide really low spin characteristics, its mainly a distance ball, nothing close to the PRO V series golf balls
