The 910D3 and 913D3 have both performed very well for me.

Two seasons ago, I was fitted for the 910D3, 10.5* with the Aldila RIP 60 alpha shaft.  I played it adjusted to the C3 position and just hit the ball so well, so consistently.  If I had a gripe, I did feel that I hit the ball a bit too high.  Near the end of this season, I had the chance to acquire a used 913D3, 9.5* with the same shaft for a very reasonable price.  I really didn't expect it to perform any better than the 910, but I figured what the heck (nothing ventured, nothing gained).  Well I was wrong.  The 1 degree difference (I play the 913 @ C3 as well) has helped lower that ball flight.  Although I've sacrificed a few yards of carry, the overall result is an increase in overall distance due to more roll out.  I have a mortal swing speed, and with the 910, I averaged around 245 yards, with maxed out drives around 265.  Since the change to the 913, I've found myself closer to 260 yards more often, even hitting occasional drives near 280 due to the additional roll out.  I can't say I'm averaging these yardages, but the frequency with which they occur is increasing.

Of course, that is based upon my swing.  Your mileage may vary.  But I'm pleased with the change I made.  Good luck with your decision.

The answer is really...it depends. What are you looking to gain from the shaft change? Has your swing/game changed such that the current shaft doesn't work anymore or are you looking to gain distance? Accuracy?

You best bet is to take your current driver to a fitter. Gather data on what you have now. Try a few shafts to see if you can get your desired improvement. After you settle on the best shaft, then try the 913 and see if there are any further improvements that you can get. I will bet that there are. I know that going from a 910 to a 913, with the same shaft, I was able to improve my mishits quite a bit. they now fly a bit further and are more on line. Remember golf is a game of "good, playable misses" not a lot of "perfect shots"!

After following 19th Holes excellent suggestion, ask the price of the shaft versus the price of a 913 with that shaft.  If the replacement shaft is close to $300, a new driver is $400, and you can sell your old driver for $50-75, the net cost is now $25-50.  You might get enough improvements on mishits to swallow the extra for a 913.  My local BB store suddenly had a good supply of used 910s with "made for Titleist" shafts when the 913s came out with the commercial shaft options.
