It was a beautiful October Sunday in Caldwell Idaho. The afternoon temperature was about 65゚ with light winds. We were playing in a small skins game along with a group against group 2 ball. The hole was playing a 187 yd with slightly Quartering wind coming from about 2 to 8. My natural shot is about a 5 yd draw so taking the wind into consideration My aiming point was about 8 to 10 yd right of the flag. After impact I looked up and saw my ball on a good line, we were all watching it in my brother stated that it was bending too much, Maintaining my pose as I watched the ball glancing up at the ball looking at the flag glancing up at the ball Looking at the flag, It sure looked good, as we watch the ball maintain its line at the stick, it was hard to tell really how close I was as there is a small berm that Shields the front side of the green. We knew it was a good shot we just didn't know how good that it was. The group were competing against run the following T Box, But they were just as curious as we were on how close a was. As Greg I got closer to the green and he kept looking for the ball we all looked at each other and said "Did that go in?" Once Greg finally got to the green he looked back to us on the tee Box raised his hands up in the air clapped him together and Pointed his finger to the ground, at this point there is a lot of hooping and hollering and a lot of High fives and fist bumps! After playing golf for 44 years I finally got my hole in one!
