My college buddies and I (12 total) have been going on a golf trip for the past 20yrs. This year we decided to go to Nashville. The organizer of our trip, Stephen, does a tremendous job setting this up and this year, because of the milestone anniversary, he sent everyone two sleeves of ProV1xs, # 20, & personalized with some of the best moments from all of our trips. On the last day of our trip, we played Gaylord Springs. It was an early morning tee time, and we had gotten to the course just before our time was up. We were the first group off, so we stepped up to hole 1 for, literally, our first swings of the day. We get up to the 3rd hole and the hole was playing 135yds to a back left pin location. It was a little chilly and damp that morning, so I asked one of my playing partners what I should hit. I was in between a PW & 9 iron. I figured since I was still "warming up" I might as well club up. I hit a perfect 9 iron about 5yds left of the pin, and it was drawing in nicely. Though to myself, that looks like a pretty good shot. All of sudden, we see the ball bounce, hit the flagstick and drop in the hole!!! I looked at my group (we were all stunned for a second) and all of a sudden we all yelled in synch, and I almost tackled Brian & Pete! Our friends behind us drove up and celebrated with us, and the group in front of us (who we didn't know) waited for us at the next hole to congratulate us. It was such a memorable moment. It was the first Hole-In-One in the 20yrs of our outing! Will never forget it!
