Got my 2nd hole-in-one today. We were playing in a 2-man scramble at Zoar Golf Club here in Ohio on brisk high 49* day. Pulled up to the 15th hole which usually plays 167 from the back tees which is where we played all day. Fortunate for me they had moved up the tee box on the shortest par 3 on the course. My laser shot the front pin at 105 with a little wind in the face. I had just recently purchased a brand new gap wedge, a 50* Titleist SM7 to replace my old SM6. Yeah.... I know... I'm always a generation behind. SM8's are out. Funny too is that I pulled out of my bag a Titleist Pro V1 with a logo from a 2017 Club Championship. Still a little behind on the times. Went to the next tee box, not thinking, and laced it down the center. Told my partner, "What was I thinking? I just hit my hole-in-one ball! I need to put that on the shelf!" I very easily could have lost it in the leaves today. Definitely turned a o.k. day into a fun day really quick.
