6 Hole in Ones

I started playing golf 19 years. My husband and I are members of McLemore Golf Club in Rising Fawn, Ga. My first year playing I missed a hole in one by a few inches. That inspired me to write a poem about making “The Perfect Shot”. Six months later I had my first Hole in one. My second one occurred about 1.5 years later. My husband & I had played at RTJ Silver Lakes 18 holes then played the Par 3 short course. On hole number 7 I thought to myself someone is going to get a hole in one. When I hit my shot it bounced once and rolled in the hole. My 3rd HIO was on the 3rd hole at Canyon Ridge, (now known as McLemore). My 4 th was at Amelia Island Ocean course. I saw new new club in my husband’s bag, I asked what’s the distance for this club. He said 150-160. So I borrowed the club b/c I did not have a club in my bag yet for that distance. The shot was 154 yards. My 5th was at McLemore on the 5 th hole. I told our friends we were playing with to watch this shot I could get my 5th HIO on this 5 th hole. You know I got my 3rd HIO on the 3rd hole. My 6 th was at McLemore on the 11 th hole. The neat thing about this one was my friend had given me a necklace that morning and she said this is your “good luck charm “for the club championship, which is upcoming. The good luck charm worked! I have witnessed 4 HIO’s. My husband’s on hole 7 at McLemore. My friend asked me how to get a HIO #3. I told her where to hit the shot, she hit the perfect shot. The other 2 I witnessed where on 225 yard par 4’s. One of which I was standing on the green. I look foreword to possibly making my 7 th on hole 7.
