I got my hole in one on the 24th hole at a course named Pelican Pointe in Venice Florida. The hole is designed as a peninsula green, water on 3 sides. To get to the pin I had to carry a small bunker, clear the pond in front and stay out of the pond in back. From 136 yards I hit a 5 hybrid. The ball went straight at the pin. When it hit the green it rolled toward the hole and disappeared. Because the green is crowned everyone in my group was concerned that the ball went long and into the pond in the back. When we got to the green there was no ball. So the first place I looked was the pond. No ball! My friends cheered for me to check the hole and there it was a hole in one!
