After my three playing partners managed to miss this short but challenging # 12 green at Greystone Golf Course in White Hall, MD, I began to coach them on how easy this game is, in jest of course. I let them know that I would hit the ball 5 yards past the hole to the left and draw the ball back. Easy peazy! I hit my tee shot exactly where I called it and sure enough drew the ball back for the ace! My Memorial Day ace! And my first ace in 50 years of playing golf.
