Ace At #15, Ivy Ridge 7-19-20

Was playing pretty well that day. #15 is me nemesis, as I am all or nothing, water or 10 feet. A slight breeze was helping that day, overcast and severe shadowing on the deepest pin placement I have ever seen (maybe 5 paces from the back). Hit a 5 iron well and saw it hit the green then disappear from view. I assumed it was over as this green funnels off to the back. Green is slightly elevated so I did not see the hole when we drove up. I looked in the heather for a minute or 2 and was ready to hit my provisional, when one of my playing partners asked if I looked in the hole. "Why would I look there?" I proclaimed. That is the last place I would think it would have ended up. Sure enough I began to walk up to the hole and I saw a glimmer of white in the hole and then everyone began to yell "It's in the hole"! I made par on 16 and 17 and finished the day with a birdie on 18, for a 78 my best round in 2 years. Nothing but Titleist for me going forward. Thank You!!!
