On September 7th 2020 I stepped on the 15th tee in the final group of our local end of year tournament. This tournament is a 2 day Chicago point tournament. I wasn't having the best day of golf but I was hitting my driver very well. I stepped on the 15th tee box of Riverside golf course, that from the tips plays 360 yards. We had a small gathering of other tournament players following our group that had already finished their round. I hit my tee shot with a baby fade with a fairly strong right to left helping wind. My playing partners said nice drive and I responded by saying "I cant hit it any better than that". We started to drive up to the green and a gentleman was just off the side of the green with his hands in the air. He was yelling IT WENT IN! Obviously I didn't think the ball actually went in but as I got closer to the green I could see a deep ball mark embedded in the green. At this point I hopped out of the cart and started jogging to the hole. Thats when I saw it. IT WAS IN! In the Chicago tournament format I was awarded 16 points for the double eagle/Albatross. This hole alone pretty much won me the tournament! I just wanted to say thank you to all the people at Titleist. All the time and effort that goes into design and production doesn't go unnoticed by me. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life and something I'll be able to tell my kids someday. I look forward to purchasing a new ProV1s each year! And I won't be switching anytime soon.
