Bino's Amazing Hole-in-One!

I played the inner nine Gold Course at Congo with my wife, Mary Ann. It was a very good round for me -- 45. We arrived arrived at the 18th tee box late in day and it was cold and very windy. The tee box sits high up on a hillside with a large pond between the tee and the green. I teed up my Titleist ProV1x and hit my png G410 Wedge. When it landed, we heard a loud clunk! Neither of us could see a ball on the green so I hit a provisional shot that landed about 3 feet beyond the pin. Mary Ann also hit a great shot about 25 feet left of the pin. We climbed aboard our cart and drove down to the green. I walked over to my provisional shot and saw my first ball in the hole! There are plastic sleeves over the pins that are used to lift balls out of the hole so you don't have to reach in the hole for the ball. I guess that plastic sleeve kept the ball from bouncing out of the hole. Anyway, that was my first hole-in-one -- not too shabby for a new golfer of 5 years with a handicap of 35!
