My first ace happened on Dec 10, 2020 at the Waterford Golf Club in Rock Hill, SC. it was the 120 yard 15th hole. I've been playing for over 50 years and have come close ... so this was a very exciting moment for me. At 74 years old - and never a long hitter - I hit an easy seven iron which hit the green about 10 - 12 feet short and slightly to the right of the hole. It took the slope and rolled into the cup! My only disappointment was that I didn't see it roll in. I am happy to add that it happened a few days before my 75th birthday .. that made it kinda special.
