I was having a poor day at the course today, playing in a Senior association event, until I got to the 14th tee. From the senior tees the hole was playing at 72 yards (normal senior tee is being rebuilt). I pulled my Vokey SM8 58 degree and hit a very good half-swing shot. The flight was true and looked good all the way. The ball took one bounce, sat on the green and ran into the hole. Helped the team effort, but not enough to get us into the money. This is my fifth hole in one, all coming since I moved to the Houston area in 2009, and my second on the Traditions course at Cypresswood Golf Club in the past 15 months.
