Hole #17 at Purgatory Golf Club in Indiana. I was 100 yards out. 10-15 mph cross wind. I pulled out my T300 gap wedge. I was aiming right side of the green as the pin was behind a bunker. Hit the ball flush and watched as the wind pushed it back left towards the pin. We couldn’t see hit the green as the bunker blocked our view. One of the group asked which club I hit and I said “my in the hole club.” We walked up to the green and I assumed it rolled off as the greens were hard. We didn’t see it in any rough or backside bunker. So, I went to look in the hole and there it was! I ran back to the cart to get my phone so I could record and take pictures. It was exciting.
