Played Lake Shore Country Club in Rochester, NY on October 24th, 2020 with my best-man, Rick, and two Groomsmen, Al & Ray. We were the first group out and teed them off at 8:04am. It was a brisk and wet morning - my Titleist Velocity #2 was sticking. Fun fact - my father-in-law had just given me a dozen Titleist Velocity's for my birthday the Monday prior. Get to hole #5 - a 155 yard par 3, slightly uphill. I hit last. Took my 7 iron out, head down, slow backswing, look up & hear Rick, Al and Ray saying "right at it", "get in" behind me. Takes one bounce about 4 feet from the pin and disappears. First Ace. The roar was insane. Summer practice paid off this fall! Still cannot believe my @titleist rolled in. 155 yards, 7 iron. “In golf as in life, it’s the follow through that counts!”
