Got my first ace today. After 33 years of golf I was thinking it may never happen. Got the opportunity to play an afternoon round with my son who was visiting from out of town. Early in the round he joked about how funny it would be if he got a hole in one before I did. Stepping onto the ninth tee, a 154 yd par three over a small pond, I was between a 9 and a PW. A little tail wind helped me decide on the wedge. I hit it about ten feet past and watched it suck back. I couldn't tell from the tee if it went in or not, but couldn't see the ball. My son and I videod our approach to find it at the bottom of the cup! Still feels surreal!
