I am 67 years old and recorded my first hole in one on October 5, 2020, while playing the 17th hole at Meadowlands Golf Club in the Winston-Salem/Wallburg area of NC. My wife, Debbie and I were playing on a beautiful sunny fall day. The 17th hole from the senior tees measured 110 yards to a front pin. I hit a 9 iron which never left the flag, but due to the late afternoon shadows on the green, we were not sure where it ended up on the green. My wife commented on the cart ride up that she thought it was headed right to the pin. After not seeing the ball on the green, we looked in the hole and found the ball. A long wait for the first, but well worth it.
