My golf buddy and I were going on a weekend trip to Sea Island from Atlanta and decided to play an afternoon round and Eagle's Brooke to break up the drive. We got to hole thirteen and my range finder gave me 132 yards to the flag for a downhill par 3. The flag was located on the middle, left area of the green. I grabbed my 8 iron and a Titleist Velocity ball that was specially marked with "Jimmy First Ball." There was a water hazard to the front, left of the green, so I aimed to the right side swinging to create a slight draw. Contact was solid, and I turned to go to the cart after I saw the ball drop on the front, center of the green. Then my buddy yelled out, "IT WENT IN!" I turned and didn't see the ball on the green anymore. I yelled "YA-HOO!!!!" I went to retrieved the ball from the cup confirming it went in. Witnessed by Luis Quinones. We went on to play the next day, Friday, Jan 29, in the Sea Island tournament for the Golf Channel AM Tour at The Retreat course. I came in second place for the Snead fight, and Luis won the Jones flight.
