Fourth Hole in One
By Former Member On January 25, 2021
Sunny day in paradise. Charleston, SC. Sixty degrees when we teed off at 745 this am. Nice a calm until we made the turn onto the back nine. Struggled on hole ten but managed to turn it into a nice par. Hole 11 was playing into a two club wind of the Stono river and the flag was on the front of the hole 138 yards away. I struck my six iron solidly at the back of the green, which is up hill and the ball trekked down towards the flag and rolled into the the hole for NIO number four. Nice that we have a HIO kitty and no one has one in over a year. Started playing golf in 1984 when we moved to SC and have my first in 2001, second 2012, third 2015 and now started out 2021 with my most recent. Only time will tell. I need one on hole 14 to have had an ace on all four par threes. I am really working on that goal. No pictures, do not take a cell phone on the course, out of courtesy to other golfers and myself. With respect. ;)
