My dad, a friend and I went golfing at university park country club in Florida. It was a perfect day for golf, nice and sunny. We came to hole 8, it was a par 3 and 172 yards. After the first guy hit a 3 wood, I decided to pull out the 5 iron. I lined up, took the swing and was watching the ball, thinking “dang, that’s going straight to the hole this will be an easy one put.” To my surprise, the ball kept creeping toward the hole. I started to get excited, my dad and his friend were jumping up and down screaming, “get in the the hole, get in the hole!” At that moment, the ball disappeared. I was shock. We ran to the carts and drove as fast as we could. I was thinking the whole time, “this is not happening.” We all ran out of the cart to the green and there it was— the Titleist AVX sitting in the hole. Best golf day ever.
