Starting golfing this past April 2015. Joined Moundsville Country Club in August 2015. Played with a morning group of members for the first time Oct. 1, 2015. Came up on hole #8 with a slight breeze at my back. Pin was middle/back of the green at approx. 170 yards. Struck the ball well and I could tell in flight it was headed toward the pin. Never really even gave much thought of making a hole in one this early in my golfing, but the ball hit about 4 feet from the hole slightly in front, to the right of the hole. Ball rolled toward the hole and disappeared. I told the guys I was with, "I think that just went in the hole." Then a gentleman in our group on the #7 green near the # 8 tee box with a view of the green said, "that just went in." The two guys I was playing with also witnessed it. The group took it pretty easy on me in the bar with the drink tab.
