I was playing Copper Rock Golf Course in Hurricane, UT. We came to Hole 15. It was a 115 yard par 3 playing 123 with the elevation. I could see the pin, but it was a bit of blind shot so I could not see the cup. I pulled out my Pitching Wedge, took a few practice swings and approached the ball. I used about an 85% swing and let it rip. The ball was pin seeking, took one hop and then disappeared.
The others in my group were telling me they thought it went in, but we couldn't see and I was in no way going to get my hopes up. My friend went over to an elevated tee box, looked over at me and smiled. He said he couldn't see a ball up there. I thought he was just pulling my leg. The others finish up, we get into the cart and start driving up to the the green. We pass the cart lady and she says, "That was a great shot!" My heart is really racing now and as we pull up sure enough the ball is in the cup! I couldn't believe it! We all started cheering and jumping around. I never thought I would ever hit a hole-in-one.
