It was the 10th hole at The King and Bear Course in St Augustine, Fla..
165 yards and could only see the top half of the flag. It was a two tier green. I hit a solid 8 iron and the ball landed on the top tier and spun left towards flag. Could not see ball rolling due sand trap in front of green. My buddy hit and his ball landed on the left side on the fringe. When we drove up and walked to the green, my buddy said “I bet it is in the hole” since his ball was only one on the green. Walked up and it was in the hole!!
I am 55 years old, play 4-5 times a week, and carry a 0 handicap and this was my “FIRST”
hole in one. My son’s have had one before me. It was definitely a great feeling..
