2 Days In-a-Row

Hello-if you are looking for a good real person golf story this is it!!! My name is Michele and I am the proud wife of Gary Sult Jr. We belong to NCR County Club in Kettering Ohio. My husband is an avid golf and on August 7th he got a hole-in-one on hole #2 on NCR’s South course. The very next day, August 8th, he again got a hole-in-one on hole #2 on NCR’s south course. The is a pretty amazing feat as the odds are like 5million to 1!!!!! Some notable coincidences - Gary’s parents who have both sadly passed, were born on the 2nd of June and 2nd of July. He was born in February (2nd month) on the 11th (1+1=2), he plays a Titleist ProV 11 (1+1=2) and this is our 2nd summer at NCR. NCR was the site of the 1969 PGA Championship won by Raymond Floyd. It also hosted the 2005 United States Senior Open won by Allen Doyle and the 1986 United States Women’s Senior Open Champion which was won by Jane Geddes. Below is the article from our local Miami Valley golf Association. Hopefully you can use something like this. Hole in One x 2 Many of you know the vast majority of course results are reported through our website and then automatically forwarded to the Dayton Daily News. These submissions generally include Hole In Ones. Most of the submissions are scanned by our staff and when we see two from the same course on the same hole in back to back days, generally we think there is a clerical error. This time, that was not the case when Gary Sult, aced #2 on the South Course at NCR on Wednesday and Thursday of this past week. Truly a feat worthy of being the lead article in the Short Grass. Staff at NCR researched the odds at 5.7 Million to 1.
