I holed my first hole-in-one on the par 3 hole #12 at the Greene Hills Country Club located in Willard, Missouri. The distance from the tee to the back pin flag stick was 123 yards. I hit my cally X Hot 9 iron and it landed approximately 6 inches in front of the cup and then released forward into the cup. I'm 68 years old, currently have a 6 handicap and have been playing golf since I was 16. I didn't know if I would ever hit a hole-in-one as I've had a lot of very close encounters with the elusive cup. It was a cold, heavily clouded, misty day but after that Titleist Tour Soft ball fell into the cup, my day was filled with excitement. The best part of this treasured happening was that it was witnessed by two of the best golfing buddies that a guy could ever have! That was one item on my bucket list that I can now cross off. :-)
