Although I haven't played much this year this Friday was a nice afternoon for a game. My girlfriend and I went out for a game. On the 9th hole I thought I had a hole in one only to find the ball was just an inch behind the hole.

Four holes later with the course backed up I hit a nine iron into a par 3 that was 111 yards. The shot looked good and I saw it land but then I couldn't see it. I was wearing sun glasses that weren't prescription and my girlfriend said I think it went in. The you guys behind us said they thought so too.

As I approached the green I was hoping it was true and when I looked in the hole there it was a shiny titleist looking back up at me. Only took me 38 years and I hope to have at least that many years left to hopefully repeat that feat.
