I have been playing golf for probably 60 years and this is my first hole-in-one. On the 16th hole, I had 100 yards to the flag and used an "A" wedge. The hole is a little uphill and I usually hit and extra 1/2-club, or so, on the hole (water in front). I hit my 100-yard club anyway. The shot felt great and went straight at the pin. The ball landed 2 inches behind the hole and rolled back in. Everyone in the group was able to see it disappear. Even though I as not playing well, it was a great thrill.
