As unlikely as it is my son and I have aced the same hole. His was an amazing story in itself. As a seven year old, I took him out to the golf course for the first time to introduce him to the game. We played a couple of holes and he stop to ask me if I had been keeping his score. I told him I had not but would let him keep track. We had made it to the sixth hole and I had him tee it up from about 90 yards out after hitting my shot. I was on the green practicing my putting stroke and heard the "click" of good contact and watched the ball from mid flight to the instant it hit the green. When it hit, I knew it was in going in and it did. I ran down the fairway picked up the tee and walked off the yardage with him. When he picked up the ball from the cup I told him if I ever made a hole-in-one it would be on that hole. Now six years later the unthinkable has happend. I aced the same par three sixth hole at our club on 8/27/2011. We also share the same birthday. Absolutely amazing!!!
