It couldn't have been a more perfect day, sunny and 70 degrees. Myself, my mother and my father were out playing Prouts Neck Country Club late in the day. We were playing a quick 9 holes before the sun came down and the 12th hole was our 4th hole of the day. We were all have a decent day so far nothing to crazy, as we stepped up onto the tee and my dad lasers the pin with his range finder. "143" he yells, I usually hit first whenever I play I with my parents just cause they like watching me swing, and this was no different. I stepped up and placed the ball on the tee and took a look at where this pin was located. The pin was tucked in the back right behind the holes signature bunker, which for me wasn't terrible it actually played my draw very nicely, me being a lefty. So like I try to do on most Par 3s, I really just tried to take a good swing and put it somewhere on the green to give me a chance at a birdie. I stepped up, took one practice swing and hit a really good shot in my mind. It was headed a right where I was aimed so I just bent down and picked up my tee without even seeing where the ball ended up. Both my parents hit after me and then we walked up towards the green, myself with my mother and my dad on the other side of the green. The pin was hidden from the tee box so walking up as I got closer I still couldn't see my ball. Finally I breach the hill and I can see my ball right next to pin, my dad is looking at it saying "it's real close, it's real close" and as I walk closer I get a look at the hole, my dad yells again "it's IN the hole." Sure enough my ProV1 took one bounce and wedged between the pin and cup, I walked right up it and grabbed the pin and ball dropped right in the hole. I played that hole 100 times or more by myself growing up and to have both my parents there with me for my first hole-in-one was amazing. The feeling I had was indescribable and the look on both my parents faces was unforgettable for me. I have played ProV1s ever since I could afford them, they were like a luxury item for me until I got good enough to not loose all them in a few rounds. I couldn't thank you guys enough for keeping this golf ball so consistent throughout the years! Hopefully I hit another one of your balls in the hole shortly!
