Rich Terry makes third hole-in-one

Playing in a two day labor day weekend tournament with group of low handicap golfers. playing best two of three ball Nassau both days of tournament. On day 1 with a slight front nine lead my group of three played the 139 yard 9th hole with a front right pin just over the short right green-side bunker. Felt a slight tailwind so choked on my 8 iron and hit a high draw over bunker. Sun glare made it difficult to see the ball land but playing partner Dave Gardner said it was rolling toward the hole. We were in separate carts and Dave's cart was first to get close to green when he shouted and raised his arms because he couldn't see the ball. He was first to verify the ball was in the hole and my other playing partner Steve Rasmussen grabbed his phone and snapped my photo holding my Titleist after pulling from hole. Steve texted the other three groups of players in our tournament and my phone was jammed with congratulation messages and drink orders and one player in the lead group who was bummed that his birdie would no longer earn the skin for that hole. It was an exciting finish to a front nine 37.
