Playing a Titleist Velocity #2 on the 5th Hole on the Raptor Course at Eaglewood on Langley AFB. 169 Yards into a two-club wind and my lowest iron is a 5, so I pulled out my very old, small head Daiwa 3-wood and tried to hit it low. As I saw it rolling on the green I was sure I had probably hit it over the back. I can only assume the hole got in the way... Unthinkingly, I teed off with the same ball on the next hole, and dropped it into the far end of the wetlands on #6. Thanks Velocity, I hardly knew you...
