I was on hole 25 of 27 for the day. It was the 7th hole at my local golf course. It was playing 182 so I pulled a 6 iron. Before I go further into details I have to say on this day I was a lucky man. I was playing alone so chances are nobody there to witness it. Lucky for me the 8th tee box sits right behind 7s green and there was a twosome waiting to hit there tee shot. My ball was high with a slight draw. My ball was tracking the whole way but I couldnt see it down. As I take my first step to my cart the 2 guys on 8 tee just ERUPT! So at that point im thinking its in or these punks are messing with me. I jump in my cart and im yelling at the guys as I drive up "IS IT IN? IS IT IN?"! They are waiting for me on the back of the green and greet me with high fives and congratulations. They said it was a 1 hop and drop!
