I was invited this past weekend to play in an annual 3 day Ryder Cup format with 24 guys. Most of the guys play on the golf week tour and 4 of them placed in the top 20 ( including 1st place) in the golf week championship tour. I am a 13 handicap and have moments when I can shoot high 70’s. Needless to say I played solid all 3 days and one my matches. On Saturday, we played an E9. On the #8 par 3 playing 150 into roughly a 10 mph I flushed an 8 iron. I told the guys (hey fellas that ball is tracking). I then completely lost it in the sun and next thing I know I heard Holy $h@* it went in the hole! They all looked through their range finders and said it was in. It was still hard for me to believe until I went and pulled it out myself.
