My favorite golf moment from 2011 was winning my foursome's season-long competition, a pressure-packed, grueling 18 round tourney we call The Fed-Up Cup. We play for bragging rights, $50 a man and a trophy, winner take all.
Fun season! And best of…
Most memorable moment actually happened after the round was over. Every year I participate in a marathon tournament at TPC Riverhighlands to benefit a young lady afflicted with CF. My goal was to play 100+ holes however lightning forced us off early,…
My best memory were 3 round saving chip ins on the last 3 holes of my round with close friends. It will never happen again but will always be remembered.
Playing the Old Course with my 76 year-old Dad - a bucket list trip together that I will never forget.
My favorite golf memory of the year is of my freshman son's high school district tournament . He won a playoff on the first hole for the last individual qualifying spot for the regional tournament. #2 was my 9 year old finishing in the top 5 of our…
I holed out for Eagle on 18 to win the Golf Channel Amateur event at TPC Scottsdale!
Best memory so far: Losing a bet for who would win our club championship where the loser had to wear a pink shirt that said they were someone elses !@#$%. Once out of the bet we play again and I make 4 birdies in a row.
Watching Suzann Pettersen miss a double eagle by 6 inches on the 10th hole of the final round of the LPGA Safeway Classic. She went on to win in a playoff with Na Yeon Choi. I didn't play much myself because I broke my finger. :-(
My favorite memory: Having 215 yards to get home on a par 5, I hit the stick on the fly and the ball ricocheted into the water. Tried again, exact same shot. Stuck to two feet. I love my 4-iron. Very Roy McAvoy-like. Best par EVER.
Seeing the king at Latrobe CC with my dad, a trip I got him for Father's Day. I also saw him use a foot wedge (which I don't think Mr. Vokey makes). Great trip.
