    Go with the ‘Pro’ version for sure, even if you have a reasonably small carry bag. You can use the extra space for your foul weather gear, etc.

    You can buy that type of webbing at any craft/fabric store. You don’t even need to be an adept seamstress to make the fix. If you want to make it look nice, you could take it to a professional. A shoe repair shop could easily make the repair.
