    I am in the same boat and also an xtra wide foot.
    New Balance shoes have been great, and definitely enjoy wearing shoes that fit properly.
    I also size up in wide's to wear Footjoys or New Balance for the colors I want.

    Hole in one on 17 at Cherry Creek Golf Links. 150 yard par 3, smooth 9 iron baby fade with the cross wind, one hop and in. A feeling like no other.

    AVX is not a bad low spin option but I would lean more in Don's direction. I used to play AVX. When I got fit out in Carlsbad by a Titleist fitter he asked me what ball I played and I said AVX. He asked my why. I said because I'm a very high spin player…

    He's a Taylor Made staffer, but his contract allows him to play whatever ball (and wedges and putter) he chooses, and he's a Pro V1 player. Titleist just made a press release about him a few weeks ago after he won the Players.
