If someone wrote a movie script about a player trying to win a Masters tournament and put in all the twists turns we saw on Sunday it would make for great theatre but everyone would say it couldn't really happen like that. Wow - that was a Masters that truly delivered everything one could hope for. Canadian Corey Conners in the hunt quietly grinding his way with a chance to catch the leaders. Reed - the villain as a past champion possibly sneaking into the lead to take the glory away from the star. Rose a sentimental favourite who lost in a playoff 8 years prior making a 20 foot putt that gave him a chance once again only to get crushed when the star drains his birdie putt on the first hole of another playoff. You can't make this stuff up... What a wonderful display of drama throughout the day. This is why we love this game and keep going back to beat ourselves up. We may not win the Masters, but on those days when we finally break 100, 90, 80, or even 70 - we write something on our ball and cherish the memory ! Congratulations Rory !!!

After 17 Masters, 11 while vying for the Grand Slam, you could see instantly the immense weight lifted off Rory's shoulders with the raw display of emotion. What an epic day. I am sure we will remember this Masters Sunday for a very long time.

I truly don't know how Rory did it, with the grand slam pressure then the double on 1 and then the wedge on 13 followed by the bogey on 14. It was hard for me to watch the whole round live but it history in the making. I have always been a fan (well maybe not right after he left Titleist). So glad he decided to start playing the Canadian open a few years ago, can't wait to see the reception he gets on the first tee this year.
