Hard time fading 909 D2

    Hi, I got a new club clearance 9.5 909 D2 VooDoo S flex from Golf Galaxy in Westbury. I have a hard time fading the ball with a 90% swing (102mph)and wonder if the club is not meant to fade. Thanks. p.s. The rep said the club fit me but I forgot to write down launch monitor specs and will take it back and record them.

    I have that exact club and have not experienced difficulty fading the ball.  The D3 is supposed to be easier to work but less forgiving.  I opted for the D2 (same specs as yours) and have been happy...not saying I can make it do everything I want it to on command...but pretty sure when unable to do so it is not the club...no what I mean?  Best regards.

    Ed,

    Depending on which VooDoo you have that tip section might be too soft for your swing characteristics causing the shaft to release too much.
