Trying to decide on a shaft for the new AP2s.  This will be my fourth set of Titleist AP2s.  I currently have the 712's in a KBS Tour shaft stiff.  I'm thinking that I want a firm shaft.  My swing speed is about 90mph.  My handicap is an 8.  I just don't try to overswing as I'm more concerned with accuracy.  I would like to have a bit more distance.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I had always used stiff flex until I got fitted. I was swinging between 91-94mph. I have a very smooth and controlled swing and because of that he said I might see some extra distance with going back to regular flex and depending on the club he was right from anywhere from 5-10 yards depending on club!

I was pretty reluctant to go back to regular flex after everything else I had been told but but my fitter was right and I am so glad I did it. His advice was unless your over 95 mph consistently, your rhythem of your swing and feel is more important then just your swing speed. After swinging the lighter regular flex it felt like I was really working to swing the stiff flex and i started to lose distance.

    Lots of options for sure!

I just got a set of AP2 712's. Pulled the S300 steel shafts out and waiting for my new Arrowtech Steel Fiber graphite shafts to arrive.  My concern is that all the heads need different weights to bring them up the the Professional Club Builders specs.

I'm currently trying to find someone who would know the raw weight of the heads.  For ex the SW weighs 290 grams and is suppose to be 300 So have to add 10 grams of weight to the shaft, but no one carries a 10 gr weights for graphite shafts that I can find..

These shafts are suppose to be the in thing for 2014.

Just go to a good fitter and compare shafts to see what gives you the best combination of distance and accuracy.  Everyone's swing is different and it's hard to make a recommendation based on swing speed alone.  Weight as well as flex will play a role in what works best for you.
