  1. I have a 907D2... yes rather out of date but still goes pretty well. (Un)fortunately I bumped in to a demo day and hit the 915 series.... the 907 will shortly be on ebay!

What I'm trying to establish is the characteristics of the shaft I have in the 907D2, so I can compare to the available shafts (see below extract from titleist publication) for the 915 series.  Same applies for the fairway wood.  If anybody could point me in the right direction that would be fantastic. Perhaps there is a website out there somewhere where one can compare these older shafts...

    907 D2 9.5deg; Aldida "exclusively for Titleist" shaft ; flex S; wt 67; tip freq 821; butt freq 255; torque 3.90

    906F4 15.5deg; Aldida "exclusively for Titleist" shaft ; flex S; wt 75; tip freq 827; butt freq 258; torque 3.9 0

    Murray,

I would recommend taking the time to work with a Titleist fitter have your new clubs properly fitted. I recently went through the process for a 915D2 and 915F 3-Wood and couldn't be more pleased with results.. A fitter will be able to set you up with the right shaft and head combination for both the driver and the fairway metal.. I can tell you that in my case my driver has a Diamana D+ White 60 shaft and my 3-Wood has a Aldila Rogue Black 70 shaft. Another thing to consider is once the fitting is complete and your clubs are delivered they will be set up and ready to go with all the adjustments the fitter determined will be needed to dial in the clubs for your specific swing. I also just posted comment about my fitting experience on Friday in the club fitting section that might give you a few more things to consider as well. The only other comment I would add is this, I know I won't be purchasing any more clubs without being properly fitted based on the results I already seen with my 2 new clubs.

    I hope this helps.

    Nickolas G.
