I currently have a set of irons from another brand and I am looking to switch back to Titleist when I grow out of my current set.  I knew straight away that Tour Fitting was the way to go.  I just do not know if I can afford it.  Is it really worth the price?

If you are going to spend the money for Brand New irons you should make sure the are perfect for you. I wish i would have done this luckily I know some people that are tour fitters that helped me get them perfect for me and I have seen a vast improvement in my iron play. I have went from a +0.3 to a +2.1 in a few months.

    Hi Zach,

The Titleist Tour Fitting experience is amazing. These fittings are conducted at our state-of-the-art facilities at the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) in California and Manchester Lane Testing facility in Massachusetts. Our fitters will help you get dialed-in using the same same process, equipment and fitting technology that the best players in the world rely on to improve their game.

Both TPI and Manchester Lane offer three separate Tour Fittings.  They can be done individually or all together.  The first is:  Drivers/Fairways, the second is Hybrids/ Irons and the third is Wedges.  Each fitting takes about one hour and the cost is $150.00 apiece.  If you do all three, the total cost is $450 and it is about 3 1/2 hours.  The fittings are done outside on our fairways or our wedge fitting green using a Trackman launch monitor.  The fitters are the same fitters that fit our touring pros and are the best in the country.  There is more information on Titleist Tour Fits at: www.fittingworks.com.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey MIke,

Would you suggest the tour fitting for a junior golfer?  My daughter is a good junior golfer but is fairly new to golf.  Would a tour fitting benefit her at this stage, considering that her swing may change some with further instruction and practice?  I am thinking this would be a great father/daugther experience for the both of us nonetheless.

    Hi Denny,

Having properly fit clubs is critical to the development of a player and their swing, so I think a tour fitting is always a great option for any serious player including juniors. I've been to both facilities and watched our fitters work with a number of players, and all of these players walk away with a precision fit, better understanding of the optimal set composition for their game and even more knowledge about their swing.  Not only is it a great learning experience, it's a lot of fun.

Another great option would be to visit a Titleist Advanced Fitter in your area. Here is a link to help you find an advanced fitter in your area: http://www.fittingworks.com/FindaFitter.aspx

My little brother is being fitted for wedges in June, is it possible that if I choose, I can go with him and get fitted after him?  Or do I need to know in advance and set up an appointment?

    Mike,

My little brother is getting fitted for wedges at TPI in June.  If I choose, could I go with him and get fitted for all three after him?

    Hi Zach,

You will need to set up a separate appointment but you can check with the TPI team to see if there is availability on the same day.

I will say its worth it.  You get the same experience as the Pros , and a set of sticks that are fit to you.

I did my fitting through a local Titleist rep, but the experience was still worth every penny.
