I have played DCI 981's for about 10 years and I am finally looking to get a new set of Titleist.  My current clubs are not customized, but rather just off the shelf.  I do not know my HC but average about 6-7 over par per round.  I am purely a straight ball striker (when I am plying well) and do not shape shots.

I pulled the specs for my current clubs and looked at the 710 AP1/2 and CB.  All specs are different than my current clubs in some way.  AP1 has similar offset but the loft in every club is 2 degrees lower.  The AP2 and CB basically have the same loft, but the offset varies by as much as .1mm per club.

I feel the AP2 or CB should be my club.  I know mm's in a golf swing could be a difference, but the difference in loft with the AP1 would take a lot of adjustment.

Can they just adjust the loft on the AP1's?  Any ideas?

    Thanks,

You aren't looking at .1mm, you'd never notice .1mm, the offset is in inches, .1 inches you will notice. You're looking at a swing change.

Different loft, you're looking at learning new distances.
