    Hi all,

    i have noticed that titleist custom shaft shows that matrix xcon6 has a higher spin than hd6 but matrix website is the other way around.  I was fitted with matrix hd6 stiff with 910d3 10.5* but on the other hand, there wasn't a matrix shaft i can try for the fd or f on the demo day.  Any suggestion on which matrix shaft I should order?  I tend to hit up on my driver and thus even rip 60 stiff generated too much spin but I don't do it that much on my woods as I am more of a flatter plane swing (no divot even with 9 iron).

    Hi Albert - 

    First, if the fitting went well and you are comfortable with your fitter's recommendation I would not hesitate to go with the HD6.  

    There may be some discrepancy between the Titleist shaft performance chart and what each individual manufacturer publishes on their website.  The performance chart from Titleist is based on our tipping instruction and performance in our head.  This is slightly varied from the spin rate published on the Matrix site but they are close.  The main difference will be launch.  If you are looking for higher launch, go with the Xcon-6.
