Sounds like their error.  Might be worth it to them to knock off a couple of bucks for your to keep you happy.  Good luck.

On the order form you could get them either personalized and specify either 1-4 or 5-8. Not individual numbers.

Or you could get NO personalization  But any Number you wanted. You could not get both.

Hmmmmm, can someone from Titleist please confirm if this is the case before I send the balls back to Golfsmith?  When I ordered from golfsmith, they said I could specify one number through the whole order PLUS have it personalized.  This question was also asked over at golfballs.com by someone else, and they told him that you could specify a single number through the whole set (assuming its not a double digit number) plus the personalization.  I know that Titleist did not allow a double digit number customization PLUS personalization, but multiple retailers have said you could specify a low single digit number throughout the whole order and have it personalized.

Any Titleist employee please confirm this?  Thanks.

The program is specified as one or the other; not both.  They retailer has that information.  Sorry for any confusion.

You CAN create a unique message AND elect to have all play numbers be the same (as I've bolded and underlined above).

I was able to verify this with a phone call to their custom ball department as well.

Kind of looks like you could. I thought you could not but this makes it seem as though you could.

A little confusing. Just one more thing. Sorry to hijack this thread. But why would we have to pay extra for double digit numbers 

but not for three lines of text??  Goofy.
