I ordered and received my custom golf balls from this years 4 for 3 'sale'. Unfortunately only 3 dozen balls arrived for the full price of 3 dozen balls. I sent a note to customer service with my order number.

They wrote back that I had to have ordered 4 dozen to trigger the free dozen AND logo'ed balls were not part of the deal (I did add a TT logo at the added cost).

Looking back, it was my mistake that I did not pickup the instructions to add 4 dozen to my cart for a buy 3 get one free sale - my bad. And I did not click into the fine print to see that when you add a logo, the free dozen does not apply. Was hoping they could remediate the issue (refund for 1 dozen or send a dozen plain balls) - nope.

However...every other vendor site (TGW, GolfGalaxy, Golfballs.com....) has the customer adding 3 dozen to their cart in order to get the 4th free.

Titleist.com appears to be the only site that asks you to add 4 to your cart.

I was surely comparing between sites before I decided to order from Titleist.com. Some sites even bundle the 4 for 3 into one SKU to avoid confusion.

Furthermore, the logo balls not being included is buried in the details - even though it is not highlighted.

Yes I made the original order mistake, but I am disappointed in Titleist for not being able to remediate in any way.

I would suggest better clarity on the Titleist web site in the future - I assume I am not the only (idiot).

I have ordered the specials over the years and have never had an issue. The Loyalty Rewarded program is only offered once a year in the spring for a short period of time. I checked the site and found the instructions in the ad that are in red, and found them to be rather clear and have cut and paste them below. As a long time loyalist and customer I am truly sorry that you misunderstood the instructions, which clearly states "no logos', and the "4th dozen must be added to your cart to qualify". This is the first complaint that I have seen over the years regarding the promotion. With respect.

    $50 /dozen
Loyalty Rewarded: Buy 3 Dozen Pro V1, Pro V1x or AVX and get the 4th dozen free. All 4 dozen must be identical. No logos available. 4th dozen must be added to your Cart to qualify. Extended lead times apply.

Not to be a rude, but they couldn't possibly be more clear and to the point.

    To give a complete picture.

After some additional 'expression of my dissatisfaction'...Titleist customer support eventually agreed to send me a dozen balls.

And who says Titleist customer service is not the best. I sincerely hope you appreciate them going out of their way to meet your "expression of dissatisfaction" and sent you a dozen golf balls. No mention of that was in your post and hope that you will pay closer attention to the ads in the future. Kudos to Titleist customer service. A public nice thank you goes a long way on this site, for those folks work hard to take care of us.

Agree 100%. 5-6 years ago I went to a driver fitting and had a couple of issues and mentioned it in my review of the fitting. A few days later, I received a telephone call from a gentleman at Titleist HQ who asked me a few more questions and arranged for me to receive a 2nd fitting that was even more in-depth than the first one. I believe that Titleist's customer service is also a Loyalist program because they create loyalists. Simply the best.
  9. I'm glad they were able to solve your issue. That's why I consider this the best golf company by far.

Hmm, I have never had that issue with my golf ball orders over the years.

Sounds like you got it taken care of by getting that 4th dozen of golf balls.

    Enjoy,

I've done the 4/3 promotion for years, AND ordered logo balls, including TT logo, off the website. The promo balls give allow you to get a special number and your initials or 2 or 3 lines on the side, but not any logos (I'd order them too if they were included). Good and typical Titleist customer service to do everything to make it right for you.

So I locked down my order for 4 dozen Prov1x s with Enhanced Alignment and my initials. Also, saw that my local PgaTour Superstpre had some of the big 4 for 3 boxes on the shelves so I picked up one of those. Feels good to be stocked up for the year with the new Prov1x.

Guess some folks just do not appreciate what customer service does, like us real loyalists do. Just saying.
  16. Not only does Titleist make amazing golf products with us in mind, they also have and provide the bust customer experience and service in the industry. And just like their equipment clubs, balls, gloves bags, etc. They are always first, and theres no one even in a close second ever.

I ordered mine yesterday, feels good to be stocked up! What has been everyone's recent experience with shipping times? Wondering when to expect them.

    Thanks all!

With the special, there is a high demand put on the folks up in the Northeast. They do an excellent job with the specials in the spring. If it is a stock item, no additional printing, maybe a week? Hard to say being we are on this end and there is not a promised delivery time. I have six dozen of this year's model and time is not an issue for me. They might surprise you and show up next week. I would just set back and wait for Santa FedEX to put a nice surprise on your front porch. You know, like when we were young and it was Christmas morning. No worries.

I ordered mine about 10 days ago and they are scheduled for delivery on Sunday. Surprised how quickly they shipped. I got the Enhanced Alignment with personalization.

Turns out I received part of my order. I ordered 4 dozen Enhanced Alignment with personalization which qualified for the free dozen. And I also ordered another dozen yellow with personalization.

I received the dozen yellow personalized. The 4 for 3 is still in process.

No worries as this is in accordance with their stated shipping times. Just wanted to clarify.

I have a complaint, too. Only my complaint is not about Titleist. It's about myself for being so indecisive. I ordered the 4-for-3, personalized, white Pro V1s deal.

First, for those who have read most of my stuff on here (or anywhere for that matter), you already know I don't just usually post "comments." Mine are more like stories...or novellas, if you will. I can't help myself. I apologize in advance, before you have to suffer through this long-winded post. However, I do appreciate you for making the effort to read through it, if that's any consolation, assuming you do, in fact, make it to the end. ;-)

    Back to my complaint.

You see, every couple years when the new Pro Vs are released, I re- "fit" myself on the Titleist site, and the Pro V1 is always the recommended ball for my game. I actually played AVX for a couple years, but always liked the Pro V1 even during my time playing the AVX. I have also had decent experiences with the Pro V1x, too, over the years. Coincidentally, right after being fit on the site for the Pro V1, I received a white box/sleeve from Titleist in January with the 2021 Pro V1 inside. I tried them and loved them. So much so, that I decided to go back to them after playing the AVX. I had been playing the AVX as my primary ball since their initial release. (That's a whole 'nother long-winded story I won't bore you with here.)

Over this past late-fall and winter I started playing last year's (2019/20) ProV1x, due to having a whole bin of mint quality "found" ones in the garage. Though, I didn't think they were ideal for my game I figured I'd make use of them in the off-season while they were still somewhat fresh. Surprisingly, I started noticing the way they jumped off my clubface. I didn't remember that happening a few years back when I played them every now and then along with my regular Pro V1. I always felt the V1x seemed kinda harsh. Yet, they felt great to me now. Yes, my swing is different and more efficient than it was a few years ago, and maybe as a result, the Pro V1x now fits me better.

In any case when I ordered my 4-for-3 deal, I was torn. The Titleist site recommended the Pro V1 and I absolutely loved the test sleeve of Pro V1 they sent me, but now, hitting last year's Pro V1x and getting such great feel and results with it, I wasn't sure which to choose. So I went with the Titleist recommendation and ordered the Pro V1.

Then I found a virtually new "one hit wonder" 2021 Pro V1x, which some poor soul before me lost in the rough. Lucky me. Oh, what the heck, I tried it. Wow! Loved it. Maybe I was just having a good day, I thought. I loved the sound off my TS2 driver, and the distance was AT LEAST what I was getting with a Pro V1. I hit it just as straight as I do my Pro V1, too. Hmmm, that 4-for-3 deal is still going on (at the time it was, anyway). Should I order another 4 dozen of these, I asked myself. Every time I hit that new Pro V1x off the tee, I was feeling something very satisfying. But, I resisted. I wasn't sure if in the long run the 1x would be best for me.

Then I put a new TSi3 driver in play two weeks ago.

Together with the Pro V1x I'm not sure I have ever felt this great a feeling off the tee. I loved my TS2 and the way it felt blasting a Pro V1x, but once I hit the Pro V1x with the TSi3 over a few days, my decision was made. Order 4 more dozen Pro V1x. That was on Sunday. On Tuesday, after one more round playing a another "found" 2021 Pro V1x, I went to order the new batch of them.

    I missed the deadline. Evidently, 4-for-3 ended April 18th. ;-( I'm such a stupid.

So, I guess I will be happy playing my standard Pro V1s for a while, but in the meantime I will likely pay full price for a dozen Pro V1x to use when I feel I need a little pick-me-up. They just feel so good off the face of my TSi3 driver. Though my playing partners might think I'm smiling at the fact that I outdrove them, I'm really just smiling at how good that Pro V1x feels coming off the face of a TSi3's sweetspot.

My indecisiveness may have cost me a second 4-for-3 opportunity by not acting quickly enough, but I'm not really complaining. That was just a ruse to get you to read my massively long post about how great the new 2021 Pro V1s and ProV1xs are, in my opinion.

Best golf balls on the planet. Sure wish the 4-for-3 dozen deal was offered for a longer duration, though.

I had the good fortune to be able to try both at Bandon Dunes. My observation was the X was special. Did a ball fitting with my local Premier site, and all the numbers proved the X beat the V for me. Also did AVX current release. This time it came out last. So now to decide when to use the ‘21 X’s until the last dozens of ‘19 V’s are exhausted.

I switched to the Prov1x last last year after on-course testing with the Prov1 vs Prov1x. Both great balls but the additional spin around the greens with the x was the difference maker, as well as the additional spin I get on my partial wedge shots from inside 100 yards.

I played the x on my Bandon trip last year and for the first time, and played some shots around the green to check up. I had always chipped with a short iron on my prior trips. Seems like there is a little more grass on those courses now (I have heard to make the approaches from the fairway and around the greens a little easier). But I definitely noted the additional spin. I also thought it handled the wind very well, even with the higher flight.

Both great balls, just figure out which one suits your game more.

I just received mine, enhanced alignment pro v1x and i only had gotten an email notification from FedEx and nothing from Titleist, which was weird, i thought. But no complaints as it only took 2 days to arrive.
