I want to know what the Team Titleist forum thinks about the new Pro V/Pro V1x? I tried them out for the first time and was quite impressed. I don't know if it's just me, but it seemed like the new Pro V1x had a bit of a firmer feel to it than last years model. Noticed no real difference in driver or wedge spin, but seemed just as far as the previous model. One great thing I did notice was it lasted for an entire round and can be used again. I appreciate any and all input.

I'm very impressed with the new ball. I recently purchased the 910/D3 driver and the combination of the driver and the new ball my drives are much straighter than last years model. I noticed that the cover was much more durable as well. The previous model's cover would scuff on wedge shots, especially sand shots, whereas the new covers do not. Highly recommend.

Glad to hear they fixed the durability problem.  Jeffrey (or anyone who's played the new ball), did you get to play the Test Ball last summer?  If so, how did it compare?

Played with the Titleist Test balls back in the summer and I wasn't really impressed. Not sure if they're the same ball as the new Pro V1 or maybe it was my game (that wouldn't surprise me). I've attached a photo of the new ball (left) vs the Test ball (right). Both were played 18 holes, as you can see the Test ball has scuff marks from club grooves and has discolored some. Not sure what the Test ball is it has a red number as though it were a Pro V1x. So far I'm very impressed with the new ball.
