While the weather might not allow for those epic summer range sessions after work, indoor golf is a great way to try to continue to improve your game. And Titleist  Radar Capture Technology (RCT) can inspire your dedication to go farther this winter.

Developed by Titleist Golf Ball R&D engineers, Titleist RCT golf balls are designed to enhance the data capture of your launch conditions in an indoor environment and deliver the most accurate information possible on every swing you take. RCT really shines when it comes to your spin numbers. Because indoor facilities usually require hitting into a net, most radar capture systems struggle to capture spin, if at all. RCT solves that problem altogether.

    HOW DOES RCT WORK?

    • The internal radar reflective marker in our RCT golf balls delivers an optimized signal capture, delivering true spin versus estimates in current indoor settings.
    • The embedded radar reflective technology does not require applying reflective spin markers or precise orientation in order to capture precise data from an indoor simulator environment.
    • Measuring launch, speed and spin at impact improves the output of data generated by launch monitor devices - including the data related to calculated distance (carry, roll, total) and trajectory (peak height, angle of decent). Measured performance enables better fitting opportunities for both club and golf ball.

Are you interested in playing, practicing, or even competing indoors? Perhaps you don't know if you're playing the right golf ball and want to experiment this winter? Or maybe you're in the market for new clubs and you're considering an indoor fitting? If your golf regimen includes indoor training of any kind, make the most of your time and play with a Titleist RCT golf ball. Now available in new Pro V1, new Pro V1xPro V1x Left Dash and AVX models, RCT takes the guess work out of indoor launch data.

  2. This sounds like a great idea. Haven’t heard of anything like this before. I’m sure it’s better at collecting data, and it can be incredibly hard to know which ball is actually better for your unique swing and style. I’ll have to check it out.

I have been using the RCT balls since their release! I use them with my Mevo+ at home and it’s amazing the difference it makes using these vs putting the foil dot on the ball. If I ever did go for a fitting somewhere indoors I will definitely be bringing some RCT balls with me to use for the fitting. Thanks for providing such a great piece of technology!

Use them every session in my indoor simulator with my mevo+ with pro package. Great setup and very accurate results every shot.

I received a three pack of balls to test and provide feedback. Is there any way to find out what ball it is? I really like the ball and would like to play it more.
  6. I use them with the Garmin R10 in my garage simulator setup and my short game has improved vastly.
  7. Used with Trackman indoors at a local big box golf store. Improved the spin numbers appreciably. Still got italics for spin on about a 1/3 of the shots, but I think their LM was to blame, not the ball.

Excellent supplement to the fitting process. I also recommend, if anyone here hasn't already, making an appointment with a Titleist rep to be fit for whichever type of club you're looking to evaluate. I did it recently, and the hybrid I bought as a result, is now one of my favorite clubs in the bag.

I chose Other, because I play the RCT in the simulator during practice sessions.

I cannot wait to see this in places around me! It just makes sense

During the long winter up here I make use of a local course with indoor Trackman simulators available. It is a bring your own ball affair and I have started bringing RCT. Significantly reduced misreads and results seem to better mirror real life golf results. I'm a believer!
  11. I purchased a dozen of both the prov1 & prov1 x RCT balls for use at an indoor teaching and practice facility with trackman equipped bays. I go there about once a week during January to April for practice and some simulator play.
I keep track of the data provided by trackman and use the RCT balls so the data is as accurate as possible.

I wonder how common these are out in the wild. I have never seen one.

I would love to try one and see what it says. Wonder if they'll start popping up in the woods anytime soon?

I am hoping to get a sleeve to try with my Flightscope mevo +.
I have used the reflector dots, but really want to see what these balls do.

I use these with my personal indoor simulator using a Flightscope X2 Elite.

I chose other as I only play outdoors.
  17. I have used them for the last two indoor sessions in a trackman and i have to say it´s much better than just using normal balls (if you can say a V1x is normal :)). The data is much mor correct and reliable. Good stuff.
