I was able to play the new ProV1x last week and all I have to say is wow, this ball is better than the previous version in terms of lower spin off the driver, more consistent flight and more durable, the only thing that I have to get used to is the apparent slightly lower spin around the greens. Although I hit a lot of greens so it's hard to say right now. Great work Titleist!!

I picked up a dozen last week thinking we would thaw out in MN by mid March like last year and we got another foot and some of snow.  I envy all of you out there that get to play year round.  After testing these last fall I can't wait to get to play them.  Sounds like they are a hit.  I second it on great work by Titleist, you guys truely make the best golf stuff available.

I also played the new ProV1x for the first time this weekend.  I really couldn't tell much difference from the prior generation in terms of durability (don't mean this in a bad way....both have been very durable in my opinion).  For me, there also wasn't much difference in greenside spin.  I was able to be very aggressive with my chip shots and still stop the ball with ease.   It definitely has a higher ball flight in my opinion and I'm not sure what I think about that at the moment.  Getting the ball in the air really hasn't been an issue, and I didn't notice any distance gain from prior generation.  The ball did seem to balloon more for me when there was much wind.  The ball did have a nice feel to it.  Overall I think it's a very good ball but I'm not ready to say it's head and shoulders better than the previous generation (or other manufacturer's golf balls for that matter).  That being said, I sill plan on playing quite a few more rounds with them to see if I can get a better feel for them.
