This ball is like the fountain of youth. I can't believe how well this ball fits my game. I played ProV1X for decades, from the day it was released, then switched to the ProV1 when it became the lower spinning model, and now I'm fully onboard the Left Dash train... this is the best ball I've played.

Great to hear you found the ball that best suits your game. Great news is that Titleist has a great range of ball options and that gives everyone the chance to find what works best for them. For you it's the Left Dash, for someone else, it might be the ProV1 or ProV1x or AVX. Enjoy the journey.

You are absolutely correct in your second sentence. “…how it fits your game…”. The reason Titleist makes 7 lines (plus colors) with golfers clamoring for an 8th (Pro-V1 +).is to have a best fit for all golfers.

Congratulations. Titleist is the number one ball for a reason. It makes a ball that fits the game of a very high percentage of all golfers. Thanks for the testimonial.

I agree but they are still hard to find. Very small numbers are making it to pro shop's

    Available thru Titleist.com. Just checked.
  7. Looks like the left dash is going to be updated next cycle....long over due as this is almost 7 years old

Rumors are swirling. The No Putts Given team was sent a photo of a red numbered ”Prototype 2025”. Likely an X version, but which one? Now that the left dash is in the regular lineup, it is about time for an upgrade.
  9. Thats why Titleist offers so many varieties of balls...so everyone can get the best fit! BTW, I recently switched from the ProV1x to the ProV1x left dash after a ball fitting with the new GT Metal Woods...

    LOL!
  10. I too switched to the left dash a month ago after the GT fitting because I need lower spin on long shots and it has been a great improvement for me.
  11. Long as it fits your game is the biggest deal. I advise to outdoor testing. I play the left dash as well and will say its not for everyone. Titleist has a ball for everyone though out of 20 golfers in our group only 2 play left dash, 12 play prov1 and the other 6 play the x

I have to echo what Chris said! I was just fit for the new GT metal woods and I was told I better start playing the ProV1x Left Dash. Can't wait to get that ball out on the golf course!

I hope they update the left dash as well. Hopefully a more durable cover.

Definitely looking forward to the potential update. I've been playing it since it came out and as others said, it just fits my game. So many more fairways found because of the lower spin, without sacrificing in the short game.

I'm not sure if I'm in the minority opinion on this, but I actually like the way it feels off the putter face more than a standard Pro V1x.

I have also seen issues with the cover on the left dashes. Very easy to scuff!
  17. They are definitely great balls!

I played just about every ball out there. Finally broke down and had a ball fitting. Turns out the Left dash is the ball for me. I have been playing it now for 3 months and it has been a miracle worker. No more high floaty shots with the woods.

Great balls - I'm used to the ProV1X's feel at this point, and that's why I'm hesitant to switch to the left dash despite its lower spin profile. I also like the X around the greens.
